Geometric Clarity
First project of the uni year.
We were asked to design a layout for a book spread on an artist or craftsperson of our choice. Mine was Jutta Sika, a ceramist who worked in Vienna alongside Josef Bock as a member of the Wiener Werkstatte. That means that her cup above was designed at the turn of the century which frankly, is mad. Just look at it!
I'm super happy with how this turned out, (though a few things need to be straitened out like paragraph breaks) I really like the typeface I used too, I think it works pretty well against the image.
